install Google Analytics in WordPress

There are a number of ways to install Google Analytics, the most powerful tool that enables you to monitor the performance of your website, in your WordPress website. The simplest method, according to me, is the Direct Pasting.

To start with, the first log in to WordPress dashboard and go to Appearance Editor. Select your current theme, then select header.php or Theme Header listed below the Templates.

Now, copy the tracking code received from Google Analytics, and paste the entire code just before the tag. Make sure the code is placed between tag. Then, click Update File.

Now Google Analytics has been successfully installed to your WP website.
