To send emails in SmarterTrack you will need to configure the SMTP settings for the Brands and Departments. These are the settings you will need to enter when using Outlook 365 and Gmail.

Office365 with SSLSMTP Server: This should be your mail server name. (e.g. smtp.office365.com)
SMTP Security: Enable SSL
Office365 with TLSSMTP Server: This should be your mail server name. (E.g., smtp.office365.com)
SMTP Security: Enable TLS
GmailSMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: If SSL is enabled use Port 465. If TLS is enabled use Port 587.
Auth Username: This will be your full Gmail address. (e.g. email@example.com)
NOTE: When using Outlook365, if the "From Address" and "Auth Username" do not match, there is a potential need to configure "Send As" privileges for your mail server. Here is how you can configure this for Office365: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2572646
